It’s true there is just not enough hours in a day to teach children, clean the house and cook well. The difference between me and other mothers is that I’d rather hire out the cleaning than the children’s learning.
Homeschooling and public schooling are as opposite as two sides of a coin. In a homeschooling environment, the teacher need not be certified, but the child MUST learn. In a traditional school environment, the teacher MUST be certified, but the child need NOT learn.
There is no school equal to a decent home and no teacher equal to a virtuous parent.
Home Education
At Emmanuel Home School Academy we believe that a home education is the best education a parent can provide for their child. A huge part of why we motivate parents to educate their children at home is because we believe it is what God would want for their lives. Our children are the most precious gift in our lives. They are only young for such a short time.
We want you to embrace every moment you can with these gifts… If we want to raise our children to become responsible, loving, kind adults, how can we send them away to be among peers who are not a positive influence in their lives, and where they are taught content we often disagree with and have no power to control?
Anyone Can Do It
Studies have shown that parents’ education level does not have an effect on home shooling success. For those parents who feel uncomfortable risking their child’s education on the validity of those studies, we offer comprehensive training as well as continual assessment and support for all our member families.
Furthermore, all students at secondary (high school) level will have their work moderated with supervision from ICCE (UK) for quality assurance. At EHSA, anyone can home school!

Home school learners consistently outperform their peers from traditional schools, both in terms of academic performance as well as creative development. Home education is also significantly less expensive, and home school graduates tend to mature into happier adults.
How to start home schooling?
Schedule a meeting with us.
We are available most days of the week. Our hours are from 8am till 4pm (16:00). Feel free to call or email so we can set a date to share with you the wonders of home education. Or simply click on the link below to set an appointment!
Schedule diagnostic testing.
Once you decide to home school we need to determine what your child has mastered in order to prescribe curriculum that complements his or her development. Please set aside a full day for this.
Get registered with EHSA and AEE.
Registration can be completed at the same time as diagnostic testing. All member families are registered at EHSA as well as AEE (SA). Our high school students are further registered at ICCE (UK).
Attend training with EHSA.
Our comprehensive training will equip and motivate you to be a facilitator of learning for your child or children. The training we offer is fully certified by AEE and we generally host training twice a year. Training takes a full week and includes further work to be done at home.
